Job Description

We are a growing Mechanical Contractor seeking an entry-level accountant who is currently enrolled in an accounting program or has recently completed an associate or bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Payroll, Inventor & Purchasing
• General Ledger Reconciliations
• Financial Statement Preparation
• General Office Duties
• Subcontracts
• Tracking Material Orders
• Sales Tax Reports
• Any other jobs & duties that the owners and controller may deem necessary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in computer skills (MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word)
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Responsible with excellent attention to detail
• Reliable with outstanding attendance
• Ability to work effectively with co-workers, vendors, and customers
• Ability to maintain composure and think rationally during stressful situations
• Knowledge of Computer Ease a plus
• 1 to 2 years’ experience preferred but not required
• Must be in commutable distance to West Valley City, Utah, United States
