Revenue Cycle Staffing Utilization Coordinator

About the Role:

The Revenue Cycle Staffing Utilization Coordinator plays a critical role overseeing the efficient use of staff production and utilization within the RCM department by reviewing daily production, ensuring appropriate levels of product output are produced based on job responsibilities and duties, identifying potential cost-saving measures if possible, and optimizing staffing levels, all while adhering to established guidelines and regulations to maximize staffing resource allocation. 

 

We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-Time, Revenue Cycle Staffing Utilization Coordinator at our Central Business Office in West Long Branch, NJ

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in revenue cycle management.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.

Requirements:

  • Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make informed decisions or recommendations to management
  • Effective communication with clinicians, patients, and administrative staff to advocate for appropriate care.
  • Ability to assess situations, identify issues, and develop solutions to optimize resource utilization
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and coding guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all staff members adhere to the quotas and requirements set forth by their responsibilities.
  • Perform concurrent reviews to identify potential areas for resource optimization and ensure staff time is utilized and maximized.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to staffing utilization, identifying trends, and generating reports to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and enforce remote or hybrid utilization management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Provide training and support training and education to healthcare staff on utilization management principles and best practices to hit targets
