Position Description
The College of Natural Sciences computer lab for use by undergraduate students with majors in the College of Natural Sciences (Applied Computing Technology, Biochemistry, Biological Science, Chemistry, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Neuroscience, Physics, Psychology, Statistics, and Zoology).
Schedule Considerations:
Position is part-time work-study beginning on August 19th 2025.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent problem solving & customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of common applications, Windows, and MacOS
Job Duties
- Primary responsibility is to provide student support and customer service
- Be present, visible, and available to students requiring technical assistance
- Answer questions from students that have technical issues
- Research for solutions to questions that you are unfamiliar with. Learn to use the power of Google
- Troubleshoot printing issues, remove paper jams, replace printing supplies
- Clean keyboards, desks and other areas as needed in the computer lab
- Other duties as assigned
Priority Deadline & Application/Interview Information:
Apply Through Handshake by July 11, 2025 for priority consideration. Applications will be accepted after the deadline, and considered if all positions are not filled. Interviews will take place remotely using Microsoft Teams or phone (depending on access to technology).
Pay Rate:
~$14.81/ hour (commensurate with experience), ~10 hrs/week. Candidates will be required to be eligible to receive a work-study award for the 2025-26 academic year. This is a work-study position; applicant must be eligible for work-study to apply. Colorado State University may conduct background checks on all final candidates.
