Responsibilities: Works with internal project staff and external stakeholders to accomplish grant research goals; assists in conference proposals for professional conferences related to TESOL; contributes to research design and implementation; conducts secondary research and literature reviews; works in coordination with departmental and non-departmental staff to achieve grant project outcomes, including recruitment of project participants, collaboration with external grant partners, design and implementation of online professional development for Iowa teachers, and collaborating with external evaluators; coordinates internal and external financial reporting and documentation; assists with budget planning, documentation, financial analysis and quarterly reporting; supervises and assists graduate assistants with grant research and academic writing; and mentors graduate assistants in conducting field-specific systematic literature reviews.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in TESOL, Spanish, or related field; demonstrated understanding of the principles and practices of TESOL required. Higher education work experience preferred.
