Services Project Manager I
UKG is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Services Project Manager to implement UKG Pro, our award-winning Human Capital Management (HCM) offering into our Mid-Market customer segment. Qualified candidates will have solid experience managing a variety of complex HCM projects simultaneously and are experienced in effectively communicating and negotiating resources, and timelines with our internal and external customers. Qualified candidates will exercise leadership and organizational management skills to ensure all assigned project deliverables have the highest quality within agreed-upon time and cost estimates.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Identify, develop, and communicate project work plans, scope, timeline, and project resourcing requirements
• Manage and drive issues to closure
• Perform risk management to minimize and mitigate project risks
• Set and manage customer expectations of project deliverables then communicate, as needed, to meet changing situations
• Use appropriate change control to manage change in project scope, schedule, and costs
• Prepare, coordinate, and lead meetings between customers and appropriate internal resources
• Manage projects using our methodology standards and recommend appropriate changes to improve speed and consistency of work delivery
• Enforce project standards to ensure deliverable quality
• Ensure that both customers and team members are meeting their project commitments in order to ensure a successful customer launch
• Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and archived appropriately
• Communicate project status, risks, and options to both internal and external stakeholders
Basic Qualification:
• Project Manager with at least 1/2 years of experience managing projects with virtual team members in the HCM space
• Experience working in a SaaS environment leading complex clients through the HCM implementation process
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualification:
Experience managing complex HCM implementations
• Experience with Open Air, Smartsheet, Salesforce
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex projects concurrently
• Demonstrates strong leadership presence and consulting skills, partnering with customer's executives
• Strong, effective decision-making and multi-tasking skills within stringent deadlines
• Knowledgeable of the human resources/payroll/benefits discipline
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to meet changing scope and resource situations
• Demonstrates good judgment to appropriately negotiate project schedule and cost items
• Exercises solid escalation management skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Project Management Certifications such as PMP are preferred
