This internship is designed for students who are curious about the intersection of AI and finance—those who want to understand how private equity works and how emerging technologies are transforming the investment lifecycle.

Role Overview

As an AI + Finance Intern, you’ll work on real-world projects that bring AI and automation into the heart of the private equity process. From deal sourcing and diligence to operational reporting and workflow automation, you’ll learn how emerging technologies are changing the way capital is deployed and companies are built.

This is an unpaid, education-focused internship designed in alignment with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines. It is structured to prioritize your learning, not labor—meaning your work is built around skill-building, mentorship, and guided exploration. For-credit arrangements through your academic institution are strongly encouraged.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in a lean, high-tempo environment, working closely with the Nostra Group team to explore how AI agents and low-code tools can streamline investment operations.

What You’ll Learn

How private equity firms source, evaluate, and manage deals

How to design and test AI agents using tools like Relevance AI or LangChain

How to automate workflows with low-code platforms like n8n or Zapier

How financial processes can be optimized using automation and LLMs

How to communicate and document prompt flows, business logic, and edge cases

You Might Be a Good Fit If You…

Are majoring in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field

Have a genuine interest in both business and emerging technologies

Want to explore how AI and automation are reshaping traditional finance

Are curious, resourceful, and eager to learn in a high-autonomy environment

Have basic familiarity with Python, APIs, or LLMs (not required—but a plus)
