Artist Services Intern

Thizzler is the leading platform for Bay Area hip-hop, supporting artists through distribution, marketing, and original content. We help up-and-coming talent break through the noise with strategy, reach, and data-driven support. We’re a small team making a big impact — and we want you to join us.

About the Role

As an Artist Services Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting artists and helping our team manage content, communications, and backend workflows. This internship is perfect for someone interested in music business, marketing, or artist management — and who thrives in fast-paced, detail-oriented environments.

You’ll start with onboarding and tool training, then level up to managing tags in our CRM and supporting Shopify fulfillment, and by the end of your internship, you’ll contribute to strategy and insights that drive the artist experience. This internship has the potential to transition into a part-time role on the team.

What You’ll Learn & Do

First 3 months: You’ll focus on learning our tools, supporting artist communications, and building confidence in key workflows.

Final 3 months: You’ll begin owning day-to-day operations with more independence, contributing to process improvements and supporting advanced artist services workflows.

  • Learn how we support independent artists through tools like Shopify, Front, and Asana
  • Assist with content scheduling, inbox tagging, and fulfillment workflows
  • Gain experience in CRM systems and internal communications
  • Contribute to team meetings, daily reporting, and artist-facing operations
  • Support improvements to processes and documentation for future interns
