Business Representative Assistant - Madison Concrete Sales - Intern

About the Role:

We are a leading concrete contractor serving the Midwest, specializing in flatwork, foundations, and tilt-up construction for commercial and industrial projects. We’re looking for a driven, organized, and customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This hybrid role blends in-person client visits with remote project coordination, and is ideal for someone who enjoys both relationship-building and closing high-value construction jobs.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect and meet with commercial and industrial clients to assess project needs
• Sell concrete services including flatwork, foundations, and tilt-up construction
• Conduct job site visits, gather scope details, and coordinate with the estimating team
• Prepare, present, and follow up on proposals and contracts
• Manage customer relationships throughout the sales and project lifecycle
• Organize job details and manage pipeline using company software and CRM tools
• Assist in generating leads through local marketing efforts (email, flyers, digital)

Qualifications:

• Valid Class D Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn project/job tracking software
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a hybrid setting

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Hybrid: Field-based meetings and site visits, with flexibility to work from home for administrative tasks
