We're looking for a curious, growth-minded individual who thrives on building connections. This individual will use their strong interpersonal skills and passion for growth to engage with the community. Experience with the office suite is a bonus. 
 

Goals and Duties of The Position 

The VISTA, serving as the Financial Empowerment Coordinator, will focus on empowering youth through:

 

  • Developing curriculum to ensure it remains relevant, impactful, and engaging.
  • Fostering connections with schools, community organizations, and local businesses to support the financial literacy education of youth across the region.
  • Streamlining cohort planning and coordination.
  • Ensuring effective scheduling for both students and educators.
  • Supporting the coordination and execution of large events, such as the Art Show.
  • Researching funding opportunities and grants.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase student involvement in the programs. 
     

Professional Development

As a part of the ACE program, VISTA members take part in our monthly team building days, attend AmeriCorps trainings, and have access to Siena’s faculty to learn more about their areas of interest. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have an Associates level education or higher 
  • Have a growth mindset
  • US citizen or have permanent resident status

 

Living Allowance: 

VISTAs earn a living allowance for their service. The annual living allowance is $24,962, which is $960.85 on a bi-weekly basis.
