Marketing Communications Intern

Description

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Location: Cary, NC. This role will follow a hybrid work schedule.

Job Accountability/Responsibilities: 

  • Curate engaging content for marketing channels including social media, web site, and email
  • Develop marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and videos within brand guidelines and product/brand messaging
  • Assist with content for launch campaigns and tracking campaign timelines
  • Oversee updates to TransmetriQ brand book 
  • Provide support for external-facing presentations and materials such as monthly webinar series

Knowledge, Skills, Education:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Readiness to learn about new industries
  • Rising junior or senior, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, or related communications field, or recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AP Style, website design, and social media platforms
  • Attention to detail and keen understanding of design principles
  • Familiarity with graphic design or marketing automation software a plus (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, etc.)
