Job Title: After-School STEM Instructor

Compensation: $40-$54 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic STEM Instructor to lead after-school robotics(SUMMER ROBOTICS CAMP) and coding classes for students in grades 2–10. This role involves hands-on teaching, guiding students in STEM projects, and fostering an interactive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

Teach STEM Concepts: Deliver engaging lessons in robotics, coding, electronics, and automation using platforms like Arduino, BBC micro:bit, and other STEM kits.

Facilitate Hands-On Learning: Assist students in designing and building projects, troubleshooting issues, and applying theoretical concepts.

Monitor Student Progress: Keep records of attendance, participation, and learning outcomes.

Prepare and Manage Equipment: Load, unload, and maintain robotics kits, laptops, and other instructional materials.

Ensure a Safe and Inclusive Environment: Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all students.

Support Classroom Activities: Assist with setup, clean-up, and any additional tasks needed to enhance the learning experience.

Qualifications

Must have an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.

Passion for STEM education and hands-on learning.

Experience teaching or mentoring students in a STEM-related field (preferred but not required).

Background in robotics, electronics, coding, or engineering is a plus.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Ability to work with elementary and middle school students in an engaging and interactive manner.

Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a consistent schedule.
