Consumer Loan Sales Manager
Our Consumer Loan Sales Manager will manage and oversee the consumer loan sales function and staff. Promote Cobalt Credit Union and its’ Consumer Loan Products as well as promoting and offering other products. Results will be achieved in this role by hiring and coaching sales orientated Consumer Loan Officers and holding them accountable for various sales and production goals. This position is accountable to members as well as to the VP Consumer Credit and will be responsible for accuracy of work and performance goals as set. This position has a direct impact on organizational success through direct member and business interactions.
Education and/or Experience Requirements
• 5 years of experience in sales within a financial institution required.
• 2-3 years of experience in lending required
• Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations governing business and consumer lending practices.
• Knowledge of business financial analysis, ability to analyze information and make sound loan decisions.
• Ability to systematically gather, read, retrieve, and interpret data from reports.
• Excellent problem solving ability.
• Ability to prioritize, organize time and work independently and as a member of team.
• Excellent listening skills as well as oral and written communication skills that will be utilized directly with members, staff, and the business community.
• Must be able to complete all required paperwork as needed in an organized manner with a high degree of accuracy and follow-up on documents as needed.
