Talent Acquisition Intern

SUMMARY: 

The Talent Acquisition Intern will handle administrative duties related to the recruitment process as well as some direct hands-on recruiting project work. Responsibilities include posting open requisitions, sourcing, screening candidates, tracking candidate activity, and coordinating interviews. The intern will also work within our ATS to create templates, help streamline processes, and track pipeline progress. Recruiting project tasks include sourcing candidates, disqualifying unqualified applicants, setting up and rescheduling interviews, assisting with recruiting front-line roles, maintaining temporary coverage requests, and providing administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team.  

Location: Seguin, TX or Janesville, WI

Hours: Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week 

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

  • Support the recruiting team including sourcing, screening, and scheduling candidates for interviews.
  • Maintain and share information in systems including our system (UKG), spreadsheets (Excel), LinkedIn, Indeed, MS Office Suite.
  • Interview coordination and communication with candidates and new hires.
  • Attend recruiting events as a representative of United Alloy.
  • Act as a champion of United Alloy and our culture.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING: 

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year college studying Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Experience managing timelines and maintaining multiple projects at once.
  • Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to navigate in a windows-based computer environment.
  • Eager to learn and take on projects with a can-do attitude to maximize professional development.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and proficient with Excel.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 

  • This will be an onsite position in Seguin, Texas or Janesville, WI
  • Local travel for events may be required.
  • If selected for the role, a background check will be conducted.
