Marketing Intern

Job Summary: 

Work with Marketing Team to gain hands-on experience by building brand awareness with cost-effective PR, traditional and online marketing, and social media marketing tactics. This is a part-time position (approximately 12 to 20 hours per week).

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain entry-level sales and marketing reports
  2. Assist in development and placement of online website updates
  3. Assist in social media monitoring and engagement across social networking platforms
  4. Assist in development of marketing materials for production teams
  5. Assist in planning company and industry events
  6. Track industry news and learn how the effects on the company
  7. Customer and competitive research
  8. Create meeting agendas and status reports as needed

 

 

Experience and Education: 

  • Current undergraduate or recent college graduate
  • Preferred degrees: business management, communications, digital/new media, marketing, graphic design, project management
  • Strong written and inter-personal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with team members and take direction
  • Keen attention to detail and good organization skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects attention to deadlines
  • Genuine interest in social media platforms and marketing tactics
  • Ability to engage thoughtfully to enhance company profiles on social networking sites
  • Interest in the automotive industry in general
  • Entry-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud
