Marketing Intern
Job Summary:
Work with Marketing Team to gain hands-on experience by building brand awareness with cost-effective PR, traditional and online marketing, and social media marketing tactics. This is a part-time position (approximately 12 to 20 hours per week).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain entry-level sales and marketing reports
- Assist in development and placement of online website updates
- Assist in social media monitoring and engagement across social networking platforms
- Assist in development of marketing materials for production teams
- Assist in planning company and industry events
- Track industry news and learn how the effects on the company
- Customer and competitive research
- Create meeting agendas and status reports as needed
Experience and Education:
- Current undergraduate or recent college graduate
- Preferred degrees: business management, communications, digital/new media, marketing, graphic design, project management
- Strong written and inter-personal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with team members and take direction
- Keen attention to detail and good organization skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects attention to deadlines
- Genuine interest in social media platforms and marketing tactics
- Ability to engage thoughtfully to enhance company profiles on social networking sites
- Interest in the automotive industry in general
- Entry-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud
