Advisor Support Specialist

The Advisor Support Specialist will support the fast-growing Private Wealth Management (PWM) team. The PWM team works with financial advisors throughout the country to serve their clients with a customized separately managed account. This role will serve as a liaison between financial advisors and our internal sales team to manage the new account opening process. The PWM team constructs custom portfolios of individual stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds. Through detailed conversations with advisors and their clients, each account is constructed to the custom tax budget, risks, and goals of the client.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the PWM team and the sales team on new accounts such as opening, funding, and initial trading
  • Communicate and manage the new account opening process for advisors, ensuring all information to open and manage the account has been received
  • Provide information and communicate with advisors on account information such as proposals, withdrawals, deposits, account review, reporting, etc.
  • Work closely with PWM operations and sales teams on necessary information or required processes for proposals, account opening, trading and account maintenance
  • Confirm accuracy in all account information and business line information across all systems including reporting and client relationship management systems
  • Monitor all paperwork for any missing data and inaccuracies
  • Recommend solutions to improve current processes and relationships with current advisors
  • Assist the PWM team and the sales team in proposal creation by inputting the necessary investment data
  • Assist in creation and organization marketing or sales materials
  • Assist in the monitoring and compiling of data for monthly and quarterly reports
  • Complete any ad hoc projects for PWM team

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-3 years’ experience
  • Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office
  • Intermediate knowledge of financial markets and related products
