Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager Intern to join our team for the upcoming season. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in field operations and project management in the heavy civil construction industry.
This internship is ideal for college students in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related programs who are eager to apply their education in a real-world, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Project Managers with daily coordination of construction projects.
Support project scheduling, planning, and documentation.
Conduct site visits and assist with field inspections.
Help prepare submittals, RFIs, change orders, and job cost tracking.
Collaborate with field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
Review site plans, blueprints, and specifications.
Participate in estimating and bid preparation.
Promote and uphold safety and quality control standards.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a college program for Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); AutoCAD or Bluebeam experience is a plus.
Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
