Part-Time Accountant

About Us: PITH Products builds custom tool storage systems and packaging solutions for globally known aerospace OEMs, MRO facilities, tool vendors, and sub-tier suppliers. 

Job Description: PITH Products is seeking a part-time Accountant to assist with most day-to-day accounting responsibilities – including both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, as well as financial reporting and analysis in QuickBooks and JobBoss2, our ERP system. Will assist CFO with any special project requirements.

This is a paid position and is targeted for 20 hours a week. Applicant needs to be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior. 

Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable, budgeting, and governmental accounting principles.
• Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective report writing and collaboration.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Suite.
• Strong organizational and math skills.

Schedule:

• Start ASAP to mid-August, with possibly of extending.
• Primarily targeting Mon – Thurs 7:30am – 12:30pm but hours are flexible between 7:00am and 3:00pm Mon – Fri.
