Under the direction of the Senior Hydroelectric Power (HEP) Utility Engineer (Supervisor), this position provides civil engineering support for the operations and maintenance activities of the State Water Project civil features within the San Luis Field Division.  The incumbent will assist in projects relating to field division expansions, upgrades, and other various civil engineering job assignments, which may require operating a vehicle to remote areas within the field division.  Make field inspections of existing structures and structures under construction, assemble data/prepare comprehensive reports from field investigations, and make recommendations on civil engineering problems to field division staff.

Special Requirements
