We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Executive Assistant Intern to provide crucial administrative and organizational support to our Entertainment Brand Strategist. Job Summary:
The Executive Assistant Intern will provide comprehensive administrative, organizational, and project-based support to our Entertainment Brand Strategist. This role requires excellent communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong interest in the entertainment industry. The intern will assist with a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the strategist's activities and projects.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Manage and organize the strategist's calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, and other documents.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications professionally and efficiently.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping and expense tracking.
Project Support:
- Assist in the coordination and tracking of various brand strategy projects.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.
- Help prepare materials for client meetings and presentations.
- Follow up on action items and ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist with social media scheduling and content creation (as needed).
Client & Partner Communication:
- Assist in maintaining positive relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts.
- Schedule and coordinate client meetings and follow-ups.
- Prepare meeting agendas and take detailed minutes.
Personal Assistance (as needed):
- Assist with personal errands and tasks as required.
Other Duties:
- Undertake other administrative and project-related tasks as assigned by the Entertainment Brand Strategist.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in business administration, marketing, communications, entertainment management, or a related field.
- Strong interest in the entertainment industry and brand strategy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proactive and resourceful with a strong work ethic.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to attend in-person meetings in the Atlanta, GA or surrounding area as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with social media management tools.
- Familiarity with project management software.
- Previous administrative or executive assistant experience (even in non-entertainment fields).
Compensation:
- This is an unpaid internship, offering valuable hands-on experience and networking opportunities within the entertainment industry.
- Potential for academic credit (if applicable).
- Reimbursement for pre-approved travel expenses may be considered.
