Sales Intern – Summer Opportunity Supporting B2B Transportation Sales

Are you a student who loves research, people, and the thrill of making connections? Join our client’s Sales team this summer and get hands-on experience supporting business development efforts in a unique corner of the transportation industry. As a Sales Intern, you’ll assist a seasoned Sales Representative by identifying prospects, learning sales strategies, and helping bring game-changing ADA-compliant vehicles to municipalities and transit providers throughout the country.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Research transportation companies, government agencies, and municipalities to identify potential customers
  • Assist in creating prospect lists, organizing CRM data, and preparing outreach materials
  • Prepare supporting documents for meetings and client calls
  • Help draft emails, proposals, and follow-up messages
  • Participate in team meetings and learn how sales cycles are managed
  • Support efforts in proposal development, quotes, and post-sale support

About You

  • Enrolled in a business, sales, marketing, or related degree program
  • Curious, resourceful, and not afraid to pick up the phone or dig into data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational habits
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets and learning CRM software
  • Bonus: Interest in transportation, ADA compliance, or public sector sales
