Robotics Engineer, onsite Sunnyvale California

Robot Operation & Maintenance:

Set up, monitor, and maintain daily robot operations, both hardware and software.

Conduct routine maintenance, calibrations, and software updates locally and remotely.

Data Management & Analysis:

Collect, label, and store datasets according to standards.

Analyze data trends using SQL and maintain data accuracy.

Coding & Technical Documentation:

Write and maintain clean, well-documented code (e.g., Python, Bash) for robot functionality.

Update documentation for processes and report issues.
 

  • BS/MS in Computer Science/Software Engineering/IT
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in developing, implementing & delivering software
  • Strong programming skills in Python for interfacing with sensors & closed-loop control
  • Some exposure to working with open-source libraries relevant to robotics
  • Experience in developing and delivering software that meet rigorous quality standards
  • Excellent technical & analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated & proactive
