Assistant Superintendent - Commercial Construction

  • Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with Superintendents and Project Managers
  • Commitment to learning safety protocols and site operations

Assistant Superintendent’s Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Supervising small (>$500K) projects under the guidance of a Senior Superintendent
  • Ensuring construction activities are performed in accordance with project schedules and quality standards
  • Communicating effectively with subcontractors and trades on-site
  • Monitoring job site safety and cleanliness
  • Participating in site inspections, meetings, and documentation
  • Interpreting construction drawings and specifications
  • Preparing daily reports and weekly 2-week look-ahead schedules
  • Addressing job site issues and escalating when necessary

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical), Architecture, Contstruction Management Degree
  • Prior internship or work experience in construction is preferred but not required
  • Willingness to work outdoors in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong desire to build a career in commercial construction
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening – REQUIRED
  • Valid driver’s license – REQUIRED

  • Starting Salary - $60,000
    • Promotion to Superintendent after 1 year of service results in a $10,000 - $15,000 pay increase as “starting” salary.
    • Superintendent salary ranges from $70,000 - $120,000
