Job Overview
Our company is seeking a grinder operator/driver to become a valuable member of our team! This role requires an individual who is a self-starter that can work independently and work as a team. Salary
Hourly based on experience.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Be punctual, helpful, responsible, and honest.
- Adhere to all established standards, policies and practices relating to safety and quality.
- Responsible for setting up, operating, and tending grinder to grind grains, shucks, etc.
- Operate attentively to the operation of grinder to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Inspect machinery and working pieces to ensure that they remain compliant with specifications to reduce any malfunctions and associated loss of product.
- Stop grinding upon discovery of a problem and make the required adjustments as quickly as possible to minimize downtime.
- Keep all equipment running by inspecting and performing basic maintenance, including lubrication, and cleaning, and scheduling major repairs when needed.
- Perform basic repairs, including replacing parts when they are worn down or broken, within the scope of expected knowledge and expertise.
- Must be able to listen to the customer’s needs and concerns.
- Perform all required duties and/or additional duties as requested or assigned.
- Work efficiently and effectively individually and as team member.
Qualifications & skills needed.
- Able to remain focused and productive throughout the day.
- Must be able to use verbal, written skills to communicate effectively in English, basic documentation and computer skills.
- Current Class A CDL license with clean driving record.
- High school Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be self-motivated.
