Associate Recruiter

Saab, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Recruiter to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. This role offers the opportunity to support a wide range of positions, primarily from entry-level to mid-level, while managing key front- and back-end stages of the recruitment process. In this position, you’ll gain exposure to full lifecycle recruiting while playing an integral role in supporting both our hiring managers and candidates throughout the hiring journey. Over time, this role is expected to grow to include sourcing and candidate pipeline development.
 

Core Responsibilities:

Post job requisitions in our applicant tracking system (Workday) and on external job boards

Review and assess resumes to identify candidates that meet job qualifications and requirements

Conduct initial screenings to evaluate a candidate's skills, experience, and fit for the position and organization

Communicate and collaborate regularly with hiring managers to support recruitment progress and clarify job requirements and candidate profiles

Conduct salary analyses and prepare compensation recommendations for internal offer approvals

Serve as an offer coordinator by submitting offers for approval, finalizing offer letters, extending offers, and managing offer conversations

Partner with HRBPs and recruiting leadership to ensure accurate tracking and follow-through on open roles

Support a strong candidate experience through timely communication and attention to detail

Participate in hiring manager update meetings and help prepare progress reports

As the role evolves, contribute to sourcing strategies, build passive talent pipelines, and support recruiting events and initiatives


Compensation Range: $58,400 - $70,100

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Skills and Experience:

Ideal Experience:

1–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, early-career recruiting, or talent operations

Bachelor’s degree required

Familiarity with Workday or a similar applicant tracking system preferred

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Experience supporting hiring managers and working with compensation data

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders

Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Citizenship Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
