Farm Hand / Paid Intern needed at Northern California Hay Farm

Triple F Hay is looking to hire a competent farm hand to help with our growing operation.

We are a family owned hay farm located 45 minutes north of Reno, Nevada. We grow hay for livestock including alfalfa & grass.

The job will be very diverse including: driving tractors, operating and maintaining hay equipment, fence work, general yard cleanup and maintenance,  as well as other miscellaneous jobs on the ranch. This is an excellent opportunity for a current student or recent graduate to gain hands on experience working on a cash hay farm while working outside for the summer. You will work directly with the owner of the company and learn what it takes to own and operate a farming business. 

 You will be involved in all steps of the harvesting process- from planting the seed, irrigating the fields, cutting and baling the crop, to selling and shipping the hay. 

We are seeking a self starter who is disciplined, competent and professional. Experience driving tractors or heavy equipment is a plus but not a requirement. This is a paid position.
