Insurance Sales Agent- Property & Casualty
Summary:
RosenSure is seeking a driven and personable Insurance Sales Agent- Property & Casualty to grow our client base and support existing accounts through proactive sales efforts and relationship-building. This role involves generating new business, networking within the community, and providing insurance solutions tailored to client needs. A 2-20 license is preferred, along with prior sales experience. This position offers a base salary plus commission compensation structure.
Responsibilities:
- Sell insurance products to both prospective and existing clients.
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain a current book of business.
- Make outbound calls to set appointments and introduce agency services.
- Attend networking events and participate in community organizations to build connections.
- Collect information needed to obtain insurance quotes for prospective clients.
- Enter client data into agency systems accurately and efficiently.
- Review insurance quotes for accuracy and alignment with client needs.
- Present new and renewal insurance proposals to clients.
- Collect required documentation to bind insurance coverage.
- Maintain regular communication and relationships with clients.
- Stay informed on industry trends and provide ongoing consultation to clients.
- Complete required continuing education courses.
- Travel to and from client appointments as needed.
- Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Sales experience preferred.
- Outbound sales call experience is a plus.
- Insurance sales experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and community partners.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive mindset.
- Comfortable attending events and representing the agency publicly.
- Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently.
- Must be able to legally work in the USA.
Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Active 2-20 license (Property, Casualty, Liability, Surety, Marine) preferred.
- Willingness to obtain required licensure within 90 days of employment if not already held.
- Completion of continuing education courses as required by state regulations.
