Groundskeeper Summer Intern
As a Groundskeeper Summer Intern, you will assist in maintaining indoor/outdoor spaces to ensure they are safe, functional, and visually appealing of managed properties. You will work closely with the groundskeeping crew to support daily maintenance tasks and special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and maintaining landscaping
- Watering plants and assisting with irrigation system maintenance
- Preparing outdoor areas for various weather conditions
- Performing general facility maintenance and equipment upkeep
- Assisting with property turn over preparation, including but not limited to painting, cleaning, small maintenance tasks
- Ensuring proper storage of supplies and tools
- Supporting seasonal projects
Qualifications:
- Speak sufficient English
- Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality grounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
