We’re looking for a fractional Sales Assistant to join our team and play a key role in driving sales success. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Account Executive to ensure every part of the sales process runs smoothly and on time. You’ll blend the detail-oriented mindset of an assistant with the strategic awareness of a sales team member—helping craft compelling sales materials, manage outreach, and stay on top of client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
● Support the full sales cycle, working with the AE and sales team to ensure timely execution of each step from lead generation to closing.
● Own and drive top-of-funnel sales activities, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads into the pipeline.
● Use a variety of approaches to generate sales interest from leads and get demos booked, including phone calls, emails, LinkedIn messages and coordinate with marketing to generate interest.
● Draft and manage outreach, nurture, and follow-up emails.
● Track and follow up on action items to ensure check-ins, meetings, and next steps are happening on schedule.
● Maintain CRM updates, track deal progress, and report on pipeline status.
● Proactively anticipate client needs by understanding their challenges and objectives.
● Coordinate and schedule meetings between clients and the sales team.
● Support the AE in building sales decks, proposals, and follow-up materials tailored to client needs and goals.
Who You Are:
● Eager to grow in a fast-paced, high-responsibility
● Relentless and driven approach to high-output activities that increase sales pipeline and move deals forward
● Exceptional social-emotional intelligence and making potential customers feel heard and valued
● An accountable, responsible team member who delivers outcomes on time
● A clear communicator, both in writing and verbally.
● Comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines at once.
● Curious and proactive—you want to understand the "why" behind clients' needs to create the best possible materials.
● Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail.
● Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree (BA or equivalent) required
● 0–2 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role (internships or part-time roles count!)
● Comfort with tools like Hubspot, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and highly eager to embrace AI platforms and tools to make sales activities go faster while maintaining exceptional quality and experience for our potential customers
● You are exceptionally organized, driven, with a high attention to detail
Role Details:
● Remote (preference for those in the Cincinnati region)
● Full time - 3 month Temp-to-Hire — starts as a temporary role with the opportunity for permanent hire
based on performance, fit, and business need.
