Digital Content Intern (Hybrid or Remote)
Pay: $20/hour; course credit, where applicable
Hours: 20 hours per week. Flexible schedule available.
Term Length: Two 16-week terms (must commit to both)
- Fall Term: August 25 – December 13, 2025
- Spring Term: January 12 – May 2, 2026

This position is hybrid, fully remote or in-person in our Arlington, VA offices, depending on your location and preference.

What You Will Learn:
- How to manage and publish content using a professional content management system
- Best practices for digital accessibility and user experience in web design
- How to create and adapt visuals for digital platforms, including webpages, emails, and social media
- The fundamentals of brand consistency, digital marketing, and content strategy
- Real-world skills in project management, cross-functional teamwork, and meeting deadlines in a professional environment
What You Will Do:
- Support the digital team with web content updates and maintenance
- Assist with design and layout of digital materials, including graphics and webpages
- Help organize and create content for our annual convention and related promotions
- Respond to and address internal design and web content requests
- Provide real-time design support in the lead-up to and during the convention
What We Are Looking For:
- Enrolled in communications, digital media, web design, or a related program at a university
- Experience with web content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, or similar)
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and a collaborative spirit
- Comfort working independently in a hybrid or fully remote environment
