Enteric Disease Student Intern

The enteric disease student intern will work closely with the Foodborne and Waterborne Disease Team at the Pennsylvania Department of Health. This intern will gain experience in conducting phone interviews with patients and documenting key health information and exposures. You will also assist in outbreak investigations and participate in team meetings to support disease surveillance and response efforts. Additionally, you will have the chance to work on special projects and contribute to database management and data entry tasks. This position requires a genuine interest in advocating for vulnerable populations and their access to resources and services to achieve health equity.
