Sports Partnership Marketing Intern

Description
Select Medical Outpatient Division, within the Sports Partnerships department, is actively looking for quality individuals to work from Chicago and Philadelphia to fill our Spring semester intern position. This position will help manage and assist with marketing and development, client fulfillment, data analysis, and other duties assigned by the National Director of Sports Partnerships and National Sports Partnership Activation Manager. There may be game day hospitality and client interaction, as well as other sponsor events throughout the year under the appointed directive. Select Medical Sports Partnerships department leads sports marketing initiatives for over 25 different national brands led by NovaCare Rehabilitation, RUSH Physical Therapy, and Select Physical Therapy with the opportunity to work with professional, college, high school, and community sports partnership groups.


Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate program or graduated with at least a bachelor's degree from a 4-year university or college
• Must have a passion for sports activation and marketing
• Demonstrate an enthusiastic and outgoing personality
• Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, detail oriented, strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Willing to learn and grow as a professional
Job Duties:
• Get first-hand experience from a sponsorship/partnership perspective on the Brand side
• Developing ideas to pitch to internal stakeholders
• Assist with developing standard and customized proposals and reporting
• Developing and maintaining client interaction and relationships with potential and current sponsors
• Capturing and recapping sponsorship activations to build annual proof of performance reports
• Creating marketing packages with innovative ideas
• Perform any assigned game day activation responsibilities
• Research and identify sports partnership opportunities to increase the company’s business goals

Additional Info
10-15 hrs/wk for 10-15 wks depending on university semester schedule.
If hours are needed for school credit, we can work with your specific institution.
This is a hybrid position balancing remote work, event duties, and meetings with the National Director of Sports Partnership and the National Sports Partnership Activation Manager.
