We exist to help people reconnect with themselves and others through the intersection of psychology, spirituality, and social justice. Our programs include workshops, retreats, classes, and nature immersion.
Position Summary
The Sales, Marketing, and PR Manager will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing, communications, and sales initiatives that elevate the brand, expand audience reach, and grow revenue streams. This role will shape the public voice of the Love and Power Institute, strengthen our community presence, and increase enrollment and engagement across our programs, events, and media channels.
We are looking for a dynamic storyteller, strategist, and relationship-builder who thrives in a mission-centered, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase participation and revenue for offerings such as courses, retreats, coaching packages, and digital products.
- Manage and implement all sales campaigns.
- Stay current on sales and market trends
- Monthly reports to the board and stakeholders
- Build funnels for lead generation and conversion, using CRM and email automation tools.
- Track KPIs and adapt strategies for growth and retention.
- Hit and Exceed Sales Targets as determined by the organization
- Sales might include cold calls, email campaigns, membership events, brown bags at local organizations, and sales presentations
Marketing Strategy
- Design and implement a cohesive marketing plan across digital and traditional platforms.
- Develop, oversee, and execute content marketing campaigns (blogs, email newsletters, social media, video).
- Manage marketing and campaign calendars, timelines, deadlines, and team collaboration.
- Maintain branding strategy
- Create compelling messaging and copy that reflects our voice and values.
- Collaborate on the development of creative assets, branding, and website updates.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and software.
Public Relations & Outreach
- Serve as the primary media contact, cultivating relationships with journalists, podcast hosts, and influencers aligned with our mission.
- Pitch media opportunities and organize speaking engagements for leadership.
- Represent the brand in public forums and build strong community partnerships.
- Network with local and worldwide organizations
- Foster and implement cross-promotion of events, courses, and programming with partner organizations.
- Identify, initiate, and foster partnerships.
- Manage and grow mailing lists, followers, and subscribers to hit marketing goals.
- Stay current with outreach trends and software
- Creates and establishes surveys and other data-gathering tools
Events & Campaigns
- Promote special events, workshops, and fundraising campaigns with strong storytelling and timely communications.
- Manage launch timelines and collaborate with cross-functional team members to meet goals.
- Collaborate with other constituents on marketing, sales, and PR for events.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years in marketing, sales, or PR (nonprofit or mission-driven org experience a plus)
- Strong storytelling, copywriting, and editing skills
- Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, ConvertKit), CRMs, and analytics platforms
- Skilled in social media strategy (IG, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube)
- Familiarity with Squarespace, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing tools
- Branding strategy knowledge
- Experience managing press relations and/or launching a brand campaign
- Excellent project management and time management skills
- Deep alignment with the values of healing justice, embodiment, self-love, and liberation
Bonus Skills
- Graphic art experience
- Experience working in wellness, coaching, psychology, or the personal development space
- Bilingual or multilingual communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
- This is a part-time to full-time contractor role (increase in FTE depending on candidate performance and capacity)
- $ 25/hr plus commission
