Clerical Support Staff

We are currently hiring Clerical Support Staff.

The Clerical Support Staff are responsible for all the documentation needs of an emergency incident. We provide timely faxing, copying, plotting, lamination, binding, and finishing services.

Applicants must be proficient with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Fire DAWG supports emergency base camps all over the western United States, so travel is required. Transportation, food, and hotels are paid for, and travel time to and from an assignment is paid as well. The average assignment length is 2 weeks but can vary depending on the incident. The usual work week is 84 hours, so there will be a significant amount of overtime pay.

It's a great job for college students - fire season generally coincides with summer break. The fire season usually runs from June through October, but we welcome any applicants who can work a partial season. Fire DAWG is based out of Northern California, but our service area covers the western United States. Any applicants in the western United States may apply.
