ServiceNow Automation Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Automation Engineer to join our team and drive business transformation through innovative automation solutions. As a key member of our Cloud Accelerate + Metal as a Service (CAMS) team, you will design, develop, and deploy automated workflows that enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve overall customer experience. Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow automation, with a strong focus on workflow automation, business process re-engineering, and integration with other systems
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow's automation features, including workflow, API, and scripting
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing automated workflows that meet business requirements
  • Strong understanding of IT service management principles and practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

 

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience with cloud-based automation platforms, such as AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or JavaScript
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins or Git
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Certification in ServiceNow or a related field (e.g., ITIL)

 

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow automation, with a strong focus on workflow automation, business process re-engineering, and integration with other systems

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for critical issues
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports
