
Digital Marketing Assistant
LANGSTON is seeking a highly organized and creative Digital Marketing Assistant to support the marketing and communications efforts of the organization. This role will focus on digital platforms, including managing our social media presence, supporting eNewsletter campaigns, maintaining our WordPress website, and coordinating content across channels. The Digital Marketing Assistant will report to the Marketing Director and will collaborate with program, development, and administrative teams to help convey the story of LANGSTON and our community.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Lived commitment to cultivating Black brilliance and investment in strengthening and advancing our community through Black arts and culture
- 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or a related role (internships or volunteer experience welcome)
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content planning tools (e.g., Planoly, Later, Hootsuite, Buffer)
- Experience using email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp
- Basic understanding of WordPress website management (training to be provided) Excellent written communication and attention to detail
- A collaborative spirit and strong organizational skills
- Bonus: Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and/ or video editing tools
COMPENSATION
- $25/hour
- 40 hours/week, flexible schedule
