Education & Outreach Intern

Position Summary:

The Education & Outreach Intern will support the planning and delivery of educational activities, assist in developing outreach materials, and help foster community relationships. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education, advocacy, and inclusion in the special needs community.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in designing and implementing educational programming and sensory-based activities.

Support the development and distribution of outreach materials (e.g., flyers, social media content, newsletters).

Help coordinate community events, workshops, and parent engagement activities.

Research potential community partners, schools, and service providers for collaboration.

Maintain records of outreach efforts and assist in tracking engagement data.

Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on program effectiveness.

Support general administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, Communications, marketing or a related field.

Strong interest in working with children.

Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.

Creative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.

Experience with social media or event planning is a plus.

Must be reliable and able to maintain confidentiality.
