Entitlement & Project Manager - Real Estate / Architectural Development

Our portfolio includes boutique hotels, apartment buildings, subdivisions, and high-end custom properties. We pride ourselves on tackling complex, creative development challenges with precision and vision. While we are a small company, we manage large-scale projects with efficiency. We outsource all technical work and focus on management and coordination.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong AutoCAD skills, excellent management abilities, and experience in land acquisition and due diligence. You will oversee drafting quality, coordinate outsourced teams, and support entitlement and administrative tasks for complex real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate outsourced drafting teams
  • Ensure drafting quality control using AutoCAD
  • Conduct land acquisition and diligence research
  • Support entitlement processes and compliance
  • Interface with city and county agencies (City of LA, LA County, Santa Bernardino County)
  • Analyze and interpret codes and regulations
  • Summarize technical and project-related information
  • Assist with administrative and IT-related tasks
  • Maintain timelines and ensure delivery of drafting materials
  • Work IN PERSON

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Strong management and organizational skills
  • "Type A" personality: proactive, precise, and driven
  • Time-efficient and able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to summarize and communicate complex information
  • Detail-oriented and goal-focused
  • Experience with land acquisition and diligence
  • Drafting skills and familiarity with development processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with entitlement and dealing with local authorities
  • Knowledge of zoning and building code analysis
  • Previous work with City of LA, LA County, or County of Santa Barbara
  • Architectural license (preferred; higher compensation available)
  • IT knowledge or comfort with tech-related support tasks

Compensation: Based on experience, proven knowledge, abilities, time management skills, and willingness to take initiative. Higher pay available for licensed architects.
