Job Summary:
NewScope is looking for a skilled Audio/Video Editor to handle the production of Hustle and Heart. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional audio and video quality across podcast episodes and digital content. You will record, edit, mix, and master both audio and video elements to create a polished final product. Experience in podcasting, video editing, and post-production is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Audio Production:
- Handle all aspects of audio recording, including managing equipment and ensuring clean, high-quality sound.
- Edit and mix audio to remove noise, balance levels, and apply necessary effects or equalization.
- Master audio files to meet industry podcasting standards.

Video Production:
- Edit video podcast episodes, ensuring smooth transitions, proper framing, and high-quality visuals.
- Sync audio with video content for video podcast versions and promotional clips.
- Add captions, graphics, and branding elements as needed.

Post-Production & Delivery:
- Collaborate closely with the producer and host to achieve the desired sound and tone.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to recording, editing, or file formatting.
- Ensure all final files are delivered on time for distribution across platforms.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an audio engineer and video editor, especially in podcast production.
- Proficiency with audio editing software (Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or similar).
- Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong understanding of audio mixing, mastering, noise reduction, and color grading.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a production team to meet deadlines.
Preferred:
- Experience in producing video podcast content for digital platforms.
- Familiarity with motion graphics or animation tools is a plus.
