Job Offer:  Digital Platform Development Intern (NEW)

We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Platform Development Intern to join our dynamic team for a unique part-time position. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead campus presentations and contribute to the development of a robust digital platform aimed at reaching millions of students.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with outsourced service providers to ensure smooth development of the updated website and app

Oversee project timelines and facilitate communication between stakeholders

Ensure technical requirements are met throughout the development process

Lead campus presentations on the Nil/s (Network Integration and Learning System) to company integration initiatives

Work closely with the 20-member Student Advisory Board to gather feedback and ensure user-friendly system design

Assist in integrating advertiser systems for seamless use of Cash Credits

Contribute to the groundwork for a state-of-the-art platform capable of reaching millions of students simultaneously

 

Requirements:

Current enrollment in a relevant degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field)

Strong understanding of digital platform development and project management

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principles

Knowledge of advertising technology integration is a plus

 

Project Details:

The initial development phase will focus on laying the groundwork for a scalable platform designed to serve several million users simultaneously with high reliability. The intern will play a crucial role in coordinating between the Student Advisory Board and the hired vendor to ensure the system meets user needs and technical requirements.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in large-scale digital platform development, project coordination, and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of an innovative educational technology initiative with the potential to impact millions of students.

Compensation:

5 hours per week commitment

2 hours paid at $10 per hour

3 hours unpaid internship experience

As part of a select group of 25 interns, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our network across multiple college communities.

Key Responsibilities

Reach out to provided leads of local restaurants in your college area

Educate nearby restaurant owners on the benefits of marketing to your college's student demographic

Sell advertising packages to restaurants in close proximity to your campus

Maintain relationships with local clients and assist with basic campaign management

Track and report on sales progress and client feedback

Learn about digital marketing trends in the local food service industry

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a college or university program

Strong interest in sales and marketing

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing

Familiarity with the local restaurant scene near your campus is a plus

Compensation Structure

This internship offers a 100% commission-based compensation plan:

New ad sale commission: $75 per $100 ad (75% commission)

Bonus renewal commission: $25 per $100 ad for months 2 and 3 (25% commission)

Earning Potential Example

Based on 8 sales per month:

Month 1: $600

Month 2: $800 ($600 new sales + $200 renewals)

Month 3: $800 ($600 new sales + $200 renewals)

Average monthly earnings: $733.33

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Social Media Growth Strategy Intern to assist our Social Media Growth Specialist in driving explosive follower growth on Instagram and TikTok. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing while contributing to ambitious growth goals.

Duration and Time Commitment:

Initial Duration: 4 months

Potential Extension: Opportunity to extend into a paid position after the initial 4 months, based on performance and mutual agreement.

Time Commitment: 5 hours per week (approximately 80 hours total for the initial 4 months)

Compensation:

No base pay for the initial internship period; however, there is an opportunity for a performance bonus if social media goals are achieved.

Brand Consistency:

Support the development of a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across platforms.

Influencer Collaboration:

Help leverage platform-specific features (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok Challenges).

Key Responsibilities

Attend monthly Zoom Advisory Board Meetings (1-2 hours)

Actively participate in fundraising efforts through:

Submit bi-weekly reports on fundraising efforts and progress

Help achieve the goal of 3.8 million subscribers 

Provide valuable insights and feedback on platform development

Fundraising Guidelines

Board members are expected to work independently on fundraising activities and required to sign a Campus Ambassador Agreement.

Clear guidelines will be provided for all fundraising initiatives

Bi-weekly reports must include:

Detailed account of fundraising activities undertaken

Progress made towards individual and team goals

Challenges encountered and proposed solutions
