We are seeking a Quality Control Incoming/Receiving Inspector to become an integral part of our team! Our client is a leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider serving the fastest-growing segments of the global Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) market.

Job Summary:
The Receiving Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all incoming raw materials, components, and production materials meet the required specifications as outlined in drawings, data sheets, and other relevant documentation. This role is essential to maintaining quality control standards before materials are transferred to inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming raw materials, thoroughly and accurately interpreting material specifications and technical drawings.
- Document inspection results within the Receiving software and Oracle database
- Ensure lot rejections are initiated when required through established nonconformance procedures and promptly communicate discrepancies to the affected departments.
- Exercise authority to prevent the release of materials that do not meet quality standards and immediately escalate such issues to the Supervisor.
- Complete First Article inspections when applicable.
- Demonstrate adaptability to changes in work requirements, including workload adjustments, shifting priorities, and additional training. Provide support for in-process inspection duties when needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2 years of experience in Receiving Inspection, with a focus on electronic assembly inspection.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in using essential inspection tools, such as micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and optical inspection equipment (e.g., optical comparators and microscopes).
- Working knowledge or certification in IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, and comparable workmanship standards.
- Expertise in applying inspection techniques with various tools and equipment to assess material compliance.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a technical environment, follow instructions diligently, and prioritize tasks based on departmental needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Oracle and Agile databases is preferred
- Familiarity with measurement tools, gauges, and industry standards like IPC-610 is advantageous.
Due to ITAR regulations, applicants must be U.S. Citizens or lawful Permanent Residents.
Shift and Schedule:
Onsite
1st Shift 6am-2:30pm Monday - Friday
