TITLE: Optavise Sales Business Development Internship - 2025
LOCATION: REMOTE any US based location
CNO’s Optavise Sales Business Development Intern program is designed to introduce college students to the application of Sales and Business Development skills in insurance. Summer interns will gain valuable experience with expanding current broker relationships, bringing in additional business through sales calls and email communication.
This is a paid internship, at competitive rates.
As an Optavise Sales Business Development Intern, your responsibilities will include:
· Working from a company provided script, calling and emailing existing clients to expand business on behalf of top performing sales professionals on the team.
· Scheduling virtual and onsite meetings with current and prospective clients on behalf of Optavise sales team.
· Work closely with the Sales and Sales Executive teams building internal relationships and together grow our B2B Optavise business.

The CNO 2025 internship program will run May 27th through August 1st, 2025. During this period, we offer programming that complements the learning provided by the department through work and other activities such as:

· An in-person event at one of our Corporate offices during the last week of July
· Final Presentations

Qualified candidates for a Optavise Sales Business Development Intern Intern position will have:
· Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or a related discipline
· Status as a rising junior or rising senior, approx. graduation dates of Dec 2025 – June 2027
· Availability to work 40 hrs/week for 10-12 weeks during the summer
· Experience using Microsoft Excel, Office products
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
