$2,130.46 to $2,343.51 biweekly.  Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications.  Government Center/Viera.  Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.  Performs skilled professional work developing, planning, and administering projects in Public works which provide a critical County service and which are complex in nature and/or large in scope.

 

REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Management, Political Science, Social Science, a field related to the area of assignment, or any closely related field PLUS four (4) years of progressively responsible professional experience in administering or managing programs or projects in the area of assignment.  Must be able to demonstrate two (2) years of experience as it relates to reading utility or civil plans related to Public Works.  Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.  Permitting experience preferred.  A Master's degree is preferred.  SPECIAL REQUIREMENTSMust possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver’s license and maintain said license during the term of employment.  In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
