Digital Marketing Specialist

Role Overview of a Digital Marketing Specialist:  

The individual in this role will be a key member of the Communications and Marketing team, working to assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of our online marketing efforts while maximizing return on investment. This role must be committed to high creativity and have a willingness to look for new solutions to achieve company goals within a collaborative team environment.


 

 Responsibilities of a Digital Marketing Specialist:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize organic and paid digital advertising campaigns using industry trends while observing department goals and objectives.
  • Manage social media advertising to ensure relevant content and best practices are being followed.
  • Research and develop strategies to enhance pay-per-click advertising and conversion rate optimization.
  • Direct spending allocation and reconcile expenses for assigned line items within the overall department budget.
  • Measure, track, and present advertising data reports and analysis on a regular basis.
  • Adhere to company Brand, Style, and Voice guidelines for accurate advertisement representation.
  • Create and optimize Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing strategies to enhance company‘s web presence.
  • Update and manage department database listings.
  • Maintain detailed and organized filing structures in adherence with the Communications and Marketing Department guidelines on all assigned projects.
  • Maintain flexibility as workloads change throughout the department and assume responsibilities to support the ongoing success of FMNE Insurance.
  • Assist and collaborate with team on other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Regular and timely attendance in the office is an essential function of the job.


 

Skills and Qualifications of a Digital Marketing Specialist:

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or other relevant field of study or equivalency, required.
  • Three years of experience working in a marketing capacity, required.
  • Experience with digital marketing automation software, Google Ads, and Google Analytics, etc., required.
  • Proficiency with SEO and SEM management, required.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, oral/written communications, and relationship-building skills, required.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud, required.
  • Experience with content driven digital marketing campaigns, required.
  • Experience working on corporate marketing and/or advertising agency teams, required.
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry, preferred.
  • Google Analytics/Digital Marketing Certification, preferred.
  • Web design and coding experience, preferred.
