Fall 2025 Virtual Finance Internship

Braathe Enterprises is based in Saratoga Springs, NY, and was founded in 2005 by Robert Braathe. The small, yet effective office has 1-10 employees but offers the ease of virtual internships for colleges all around the world to help tailor and customize the learning experience with real customers. All interns at Braathe Enterprises are valued and we will provide you with a mentor to assist you through your learning experience. This internship is a flexible learning opportunity that will allow you to create and take on your own projects on a weekly basis.

Potential Responsibilities

  • Students will have the opportunity to build their own projects, including scenario-based research of a company or topic of their choosing.
  • Work with interns/students interested in the field of economics, alongside group collaborations with other interns from different departments.
  • Analyze business financial operations, including spreadsheets and data, to support strategic goals. 
  • Advise Robert Braathe about the type of investments to make, so the organization can continue to provide more opportunities for future items.
  • Assist in investment analysis, including 401k and stock strategies, to guide client decisions.

Skills

  • Strong written, verbal, and digital communication skills for remote collaboration.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Data analysis.
  • Basic understanding of business finances. 
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in higher education. College students using the internship for credit hours must be at least of sophomore status.
  • Business or Finance degree candidate (or related field).
  • A commutative GPA of 2.5 or higher is required.
  • Having 200+ connections on LinkedIn is preferred.
  • Commit to 5-7 hours weekly, with flexible scheduling to accommodate academic priorities.
  • Avoid phrases like, “frustrated, confused, or busy” and use, “I need clarity, can I get assistance, or when is this needed?"
  • Submit two references (professional and personal) during the interview process. We require candidates to provide a professional and personal reference to review qualifications for the position.
