Braathe Enterprises is based in Saratoga Springs, NY, and was founded in 2005 by Robert Braathe. The small, yet effective office has 1-10 employees but offers the ease of virtual internships for colleges all around the world to help tailor and customize the learning experience with real customers. This internship is a flexible learning opportunity that will allow you to create and take on your own projects on a weekly basis.

Potential Responsibilities

• Students will have the opportunity to build their own projects, including scenario-based research of a company or topic of their choosing.
• Work with interns/students interested in the field of economics, alongside group collaborations with other interns from different departments.
• Analyze business financial operations, including spreadsheets and data, to support strategic goals. 
• Advise Robert Braathe about the type of investments to make, so the organization can continue to provide more opportunities for future items.
• Assist in investment analysis, including 401k and stock strategies, to guide client decisions.

Skills

• Strong written, verbal, and digital communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Data analysis.
• Basic understanding of business finances. 
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools.

Requirements

• Enrolled in higher education. College students using the internship for credit hours must be at least of sophomore status.
• Business or Finance degree candidate (or related field).
• A commutative GPA of 2.5 or higher is required.
• Having 200+ connections on LinkedIn is preferred.
• Commit to 5-7 hours weekly, with flexible scheduling to accommodate academic priorities.
• Avoid phrases like, “frustrated, confused, or busy” and use, “I need clarity, can I get assistance, or when is this needed?"
• Submit two references (professional and personal) during the interview process. We require candidates to provide a professional and personal reference to review qualifications for the position.
