Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PMHNP to join our outpatient team. The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish, passionate about mental health, and committed to providing equitable care. This role offers mentorship, ongoing clinical education, and the opportunity to be part of a supportive team that values professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe psychotropic medications and monitor effectiveness and side effects
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment when needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and clinical case reviews

Requirements:
- Valid NYS license as a PMHNP
- Active DEA registration
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with outpatient psychiatric care
