Job Title: IT Intern – SAP Project Support

Department: Information Technology
Reports To: Sr. Director of Application Services

Job Summary:

We seek a motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern to support our SAP project team. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to work on key areas including IT General Controls (ITGC) compliance, project documentation, and light development/coding tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, eager to learn, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in documenting ITGC processes and controls related to the SAP implementation.
• Perform basic coding tasks or script development under the guidance of senior developers (Python, SQL).
• Assist in writing and maintaining technical and end-user documentation, such as SOPs, configuration guides, and test cases.
• Participate in meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items.
• Help with system testing, defect tracking, and issue resolution.
• Contribute to data validation and system integration testing efforts as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of ITGC principles and IT compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX).
• Understanding of ETL Processes and Web Services is a plus
• Some experience with coding/scripting languages (SQL, Python) preferred.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
