About the Role:
As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining medium-sized to large buildings,industrial systems, and equipment.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment systems and buildings.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification ofbuilding equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and partner with availablesystems to track completion.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
- Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks asdescribed in detail.
- Deliver own output by following definedprocedures and processesunder close supervision and guidance.
- Maintains the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements.
- Performs welding, carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.
- Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with1-2years of job-related experience. Inlieuof a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Meet the physical requirementsof thisrole including stooping, standing, walking,climbing stairs/ladders, and the abilityto lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the applicationof work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Universal CFC certification preferred.
- GMP/GXP experience preferred.

*Colorado Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Building Engineer position is $24.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the Building Engineer position is $34.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
