Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate educator who excels in creating engaging and interactive lessons for students with ASD. The ideal candidate is patient, adaptable, and skilled at one-on-one communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and Conduct Lessons: Develop creative and engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive classroom environment.
• Student Progress Evaluation: Assess students' academic progress and adapt lessons to support their needs.
• Parent Communication: Foster open lines of communication with parents to keep them informed of their child’s progress.
• Behavior Support: Manage and address student behavior, utilizing effective strategies.
• Intervention Recommendations: Identify student needs and recommend interventions to support their learning.
• Collaborate with Team: Work alongside other educators and specialists in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Educator in the State of Ohio (preferred)
• Experience or a strong understanding of teaching students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (preferred - we will train)
• Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly to students' evolving needs
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
