Virtual Care Associate → Virtual Care Lead (Overnight)

Start as a Virtual Care Associate; complete a paid skills sprint; move up to Virtual Care Lead fast. Already have a year of direct-support, CNA, EMT, or similar experience? Jump straight into the Lead tier on day one.

 

Two Tiers, One Path (no experience? start here & level up)

   1. Virtual Care Associate

  • Pay: $23 – $28/hr (overnight)
  • Focus: learn the tools, monitor up to six clients, respond to alerts, log events
  • Timeline: first 6 weeks (paid training sprint)

   2. Virtual Care Lead

  • Pay: $28 – $31/hr (overnight)
  • Focus: everything above + coach a newer teammate and suggest workflow improvements
  • Timeline: immediate if you already have 1 + year relevant experience — or after passing the sprint

 

What You’ll Actually Do

  • Watch & respond to real-time alerts (10 PM – 9 AM) using multi-feed dashboards and two-way audio/video.
  • Document events clearly and escalate when needed.
  • (As a Lead) mentor a new teammate during select shifts and share best practices.
  • Spot workflow issues and suggest fixes that elevate quality.
  • Minimum Commitment & Schedule

 

At least 8 overnight hours each week:

  • one 8-hour shift or two 4-hour blocks between 10 PM and 9 AM.
  • Pick up more shifts if you’d like full-time hours—flexible beyond the 8-hour minimum.

  • Communicate clearly and care deeply about inclusive communities.
  • Bring any hands-on safety or service background—campus EMS, RA duty, lifeguard, IT help desk, babysitting, CNA, DSP, EMT, etc.

(Direct Lead placement preferred for candidates with 1 + year of healthcare, human-services, or remote monitoring experience.)
