Children's Director

Role and Responsibilities

The Children's Director is the Ministry Leader providing direct oversight for Children’s and ministries (birth-5th grade).

General Responsibilities

• Cast vision and provide leadership to children's ministries of Grace Maricopa.
• Provide direct oversight to protect the minds and hearts of the Children.
• Conduct regular Bible studies to teach the children God's Word.
• Work with pastoral staff to plan and execute multiple ministry events each year.
• Recruit ministry volunteers.
• Serve as the primary contact for Children's Ministry.
• Must attend and participate in all worship and ministry gatherings of Grace Maricopa.
• Must attend church staff meetings.

General Character and Theological Requirements

• Must have a vibrant, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Must have a salvation testimony.
• Must be in full agreement with Grace Maricopa Statement of Faith.
• Must possess a genuine call and commitment to ministry at Grace Maricopa.
• Must possess professional communication skills.
• Must maintain a lifestyle of obedience to God.
• Must be a visionary and possess the ability to actualize vision.
• Must be a creative problem solver.

This position reports to the Lead Pastor.
